Avocados

Avocados contain Persin in virtually all parts of the plant, fruit and seed.  In your pet (particularly birds) it can cause gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, heart problems and lung congestion.  Small birds in particular are subject to illness from avocados, and may suffer a lethal toxicity.  Guacamole has the avocado fruit in it and as well should not be given to your pets, especially not birds.

Any avocado is considered too much avocado.
